Meet the Team at REACH
While REACH Maine Marketing officially launched in April 2014, the agency is the continuation of a long tradition of local digital marketing. Formerly known as The Ellsworth American Internet Department, the REACH team meets the diverse needs of today’s digital customer. We’re eager to help you develop a plan to promote your business online.
Client Services Lead
As Client Services Lead, Julie guides REACH clients through their digital projects. With over 17 years of experience as a webmaster, project manager and social media manager for public and private entities, Julie helps clients find the best marketing tools for their specific needs.
Julie graduated from Ellsworth High School and earned a degree in Marketing Management at Bentley University, moving south soon after. She came home to Downeast Maine every summer for vacations finding it harder to leave as the years passed. In 2013, she and her daughter moved to Ellsworth and enjoy being on the coast and close to family.
Since returning to Maine, Julie has spent a lot of time hiking trails. In fact, one of her favorite days in 2016 was spent with co-worker Linda, hiking to Baxter Peak on Mount Katahdin.
Digital Products Specialist
Linda makes things work. As REACH’s digital products specialist, she puts her software and database programming skills to use building websites that look good and make money. She earned her computer science degree and tech cred at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and went on to do graduate work at Penn State.
Linda understands the needs of small businesses; in a previous life, she and her husband ran a Bar Harbor motel for 20 years. She’s an enthusiastic quilter and the proud mama of two grown daughters.
After a considerable stint in The Ellsworth American composing department as an award-winning graphic and page designer, Michelle switched gears to become a REACH Web Designer – talk about change!
Michelle graduated from Bucksport High School and earned a degree in Journalism/Advertising at the University of Maine at Orono. She then embarked on a print design career that took her to Tucson, AZ and Green Bay, WI. She returned ‘home’ to Maine in 2001. She enjoys hiking, baking, collage-making and her newest ‘past-time’: the renovation, decorating and upkeep on her first home, purchased in 2013.
